The General Company
for Electrical & Communication Works (Syrianet)
was established in 1977 as a governmental construction company,
it is supervised by the Supreme Council of the General Construction
Companies -Presidency of the Council of Ministers .
The Company was assigned for the following
tasks:
· Installing electrical power transmission networks.
· Installing telecommunication equipment & networks.
· Executing lighting projects.
Syrianet is the Lonely Leader Company in Syria for:
· Overhead & underground high voltage transmission lines (20kv - 400
kv).
· Telephone & communication networks.
· Design, executing, & maintenance of public lighting works.
· Design & executing the decorative lighting & floodlighting for
buildings & historical sites.
· Design & executing the festival decorative lighting.
· Design & executing security & control systems.
· Design & manufacturing of electronic materials.
· Design & manufacturing of lighting poles & lanterns, and other
products.
· …. & Others.
Those tasks are executing by:
· High voltage branch: The leader branch in the field of high
voltage transmission lines. The branch site is in Hama
city.
· Lighting branch: The leader branch in the field of public lighting
executing & maintenance, and manufacturing of lighting
poles, lanterns and accessories. The branch site is
in Damascus city.
· Southern area branch: Execute the company works in the southern
area. The branch site is in Damascus city.
· Middle area branch: Execute the company works in the medium &
coastal area. The branch site is in Homs city.
· Northern area branch: Execute the company works in the northern
area. The branch site is in Aleppo city.
· Eastern area branch: Execute the company works in the eastern
area. The branch site is in Deir- ezzor city.
· Lebanon branch: Execute the company works in Lebanon. The branch
site is in Beirut city.
